Today, seamless steel tube prices in various cities across the country remained basically stable. The national average price for seamless steel tubes of 108*4.5mm was reported at 4,447 yuan/ton, with a 1 yuan/ton increase compared to the previous trading day. In terms of raw materials, Shandong tube billet prices fell by 10 yuan/ton today, while Jiangsu tube billet prices remained stable. The ex-factory prices of mainstream tube mills continued to remain stable. As the weather gradually cools down, market transactions have become quieter. Traders did not follow the price increase of tube mills and focused mainly on shipments.

In terms of regional price differences, prices in other markets remained stable, resulting in no change in the price difference with the Linyi market.

IV. Steel Mill Price Adjustments

Today, Shandong tube billet prices fell by 10 yuan/ton, while Jiangsu tube billet prices remained stable. The ex-factory prices of mainstream seamless steel tube mills also remained stable

V. Tomorrow’s Forecast

In the market, black futures experienced volatile trading today. Most mainstream tube mills followed the increase in tube billet prices, but the spot market in most cities showed weakness in following the price rise. Traders focused on reducing inventory through shipments. Due to the current poor actual demand in the market, downstream terminals have low acceptance of high prices. Additionally, as winter stockpiling approaches, the increase in tube mill prices has not stimulated traders’ willingness to stockpile for winter. Actual demand remains generally weak. It is expected that seamless steel tube prices across the country will remain stable tomorrow.
