China continues to maintain its status as Uzbekistan’s largest trading partner

In the first quarter of 2021, the trade volume between China and Uzbekistan was $1.421 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%, accounting for 20% of Uzbek’s foreign trade.

China’s exports were $950 million, accounting for 20.2% of Uzbek’s imports volume; China’s imports were$471 million, accounting for 19.6% of Uzbek’s exports volume.

With a trade surplus of $479 million, China continues to maintain its status as the largest source of imports and the largest destination of exports.
