China exported 7.974 million tons of steel in April

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, my country exported 7.974 million tons of steel products in April, the highest monthly export volume since December 2016.

In the first four months, my country exported 25.654 million tons of steel products, an increase of 24.5%; imported steel products were 4.891 million tons, an increase of 16.9%, and the average import price was 7611.3 yuan per ton, an increase of 3.8%.

In the first four months, my country imported 382 million tons of iron ore, an increase of 6.7%, and the average import price was 1009.7 yuan per ton, an increase of 58.8%; crude oil was 180 million tons, an increase of 7.2%, and the average import price was 2746.9 yuan per ton, a decrease 5.4%; coal was 90.126 million tons, a decrease of 28.8%, and the average import price was 477.7 yuan per ton, a decrease of 6.7%.
