China’s crude steel output in July was 82.94 million tons, down 9.0% year-on-year

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 15, in July, my country’s crude steel output was 82.94 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.0%; pig iron output was 71.40 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.0%; and steel output was 114.36 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.0%.

From January to July, my country’s cumulative crude steel output was 613.72 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%; pig iron output was 509.68 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7%; and steel output was 813.41 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%.
