China’s Steel Pipe Exports Rose 24.15% Year-on-year in 2024, with Seamless Pipes Hitting a Secondary High

In 2024, China’s steel pipe exports exhibited a trend of decline followed by growth, with export figures consistently rising in the second half of the year, adding a bright spot to the overall steel pipe export performance for the entire year. The upward trend in exports is reflected in the total steel pipe exports from January to December 2024, which amounted to 11.0524 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 24.15%. Specifically, seamless pipe exports from January to December totaled 5.6968 million tons, up 0.57% year-on-year. Welded pipe exports totaled 5.3556 million tons, marking a YoY growth of 20.78%.
