Tubing is an indispensable part in oil field operation. Its main functions are as follows:

1. Extraction of oil and gas: After the well is completed and cemented, tubing is placed in the casing of the reservoir to extract oil and gas to the surface.

2. Water injection: When downhole pressure is insufficient, water is injected into the well through tubing.

3. Steam injection: In the process of hot recovery of heavy oil, steam should be injected into the well with insulated tubing.

4. Acidizing and fracturing: In order to improve the production of oil and gas Wells at the later stage of well drilling, it is necessary to input acidizing and fracturing medium or fixed phone to the oil and gas reservoir. The medium or solidified substance is transported through tubing.

Tubing is divided into NU and EU. NU type tubing refers to the pipe end without thickening and directly threaded and with the coupling. EU tubing refers to the two ends after the external thickening, then threaded and with the coupling.
