In the evening of January 20, 2025, Fengbao Special Steel (Group) held a grand award ceremony titled “Honoring Struggle, Praising Role Models” at the Red Flag Canal Cadre Academy, a sacred place for propagating the spirit of the Red Flag Canal, to commend its outstanding performers of 2024. Over 400 attendees, including municipal leaders Tian Yuanfei, Yang Zhenyu, Niu Yongqi, Li Chengyi, Sun Yonghong, Li Qiangyun, Shang Haizhou, and Feng Bo, leaders from relevant townships and government departments, as well as representatives of the company’s advanced collectives and individuals of 2024, and winners of the Science and Technology Progress Award, witnessed the grand event together.
With lively music and changing colors, a water drum performance kicked off the entire evening.
Li Jingmin, Party Secretary and General Manager of Fengbao Special Steel, delivered a speech titled “Expanding Product Specifications, Enhancing Product Quality, and Elevating Digital and Intelligent Levels: Striving to Build a World-Renowned Special Steel Tube Enterprise with Global Competitiveness.” After summarizing the series of important achievements in 2024, he pointed out that 2025 is a crucial year for Fengbao Special Steel Group to transition and upgrade towards high-quality development, with exceptionally arduous tasks ahead. We will unwaveringly adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the new development paradigm of high-quality development, and strive to build a special steel tube and application enterprise with global competitiveness, contributing our share to advancing China’s modernization and the construction of Linzhou as a modern medium-sized city!
After presenting awards to the model workers, Chairman Li Guangyuan delivered an emotional speech. He said, “Only through development can we progress, and only through innovation can we gain momentum.” The more than 20 years of Fengbao’s development have proven this point. We must always implement and learn from President Xi’s model worker spirit, labor spirit, and craftsmanship spirit, striving for continuous improvement and catching up with the advanced, aiming to excel in all aspects. We will continue to promote the Red Flag Canal spirit and our Fengbao steel soul spirit, refueling, steadying the helm, and mustering our energy to successfully complete all work goals for 2025, contributing to the high-quality development of Linzhou’s new economy.
Tian Yuanfei, Deputy Secretary of the Linzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, delivered an inspiring speech after presenting awards to the model workers. He said that as the “leader” of the city’s industrial development, Fengbao Group has made significant contributions to the city’s economic and social development. In the coming year, he hoped that Fengbao Group would first, remain committed to industry and serve as a benchmark in driving transformational development. Second, persist in innovation and serve as a benchmark in developing new productive forces. Third, uphold responsibility and serve as a benchmark in demonstrating social commitment. He expressed that the municipal Party committee and government will continue to support the development of private enterprises represented by Fengbao Group, striving to create a first-class business environment for their operational development.
The achievements Fengbao made in 2024 are the result of the hard work of its staff, especially the outstanding model workers present. They have shared weal or woe with Fengbao, worked tirelessly day and night, and made outstanding contributions. Interspersed with award-presentation segments, company leaders presented awards to the 2024 advanced teams, advanced units, and advanced workers. Yang Zhenyu, Niu Yongqi, Li Chengyi, Sun Yonghong, Li Qiangyun, Shang Haizhou, and Feng Bo presented awards for management innovation and scientific and technological progress, respectively. General Manager Li Jingmin presented awards for excellence in management innovation and special contributions in 2024. Tian Yuanfei and Li Guangyuan jointly presented awards to the 2024 labor models.
In total, 12 labor model awards, 13 scientific and technological progress awards, 16 management innovation awards, 14 outstanding individual manager awards, 5 outstanding expert awards, 1 product market development award, 15 advanced worker and producer awards, 1 special contribution award for advanced collectives, 2 advanced units for safety production and environmental protection, 4 advanced factories (divisions), 3 advanced units, 3 advanced departments, 6 advanced workshops (divisions), and 15 advanced teams were presented.
