President Xi Jinping: “China is willing to strengthen the cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of natural gas”

On April 8^th, the “Neutral Turkmenistan News” published a congratulatory message from Chinese President Xi Jinping to Turkmenistan President Berdymuhamedov on the occasion of the Naurus Festival.

President Xi Jinping said that China-Turkmenistan’s relationship have a solid foundation, huge potential and broad development prospects. China is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of natural gas, actively expand cooperation in non-resource fields, and systematically enrich the new content of bilateral relations.

Chinese leaders also expressed their willingness to promote strategic partnerships with Turkmenistan.

‘I am highly concerned about the development of China-Turkmanitan’s relationship, and I am willing to work with you to push the strategic partnership between the two countries to a new level and benefit the two countries and people.’ Xi Jinping emphasized in his congratulatory text.
