Striving to Build a Globally Competitive Specialty Tubing and Application Enterprise – Fengbao Group’s 2024 Annual Summary Conference

On January 13, 2025, Fengbao (Group)’s 2024 Annual Summary Conference was held, with Chairman Li Guangyuan in attendance and delivering an important speech. The conference was hosted by General Manager Li Jingmin.

During the conference, General Manager Li Jingmin presented the company’s 2024 Annual Work Summary Report titled “Expanding Product Specifications, Enhancing Product Quality, Elevating Digital and Intelligent Capabilities, and Striving to Build a Globally Competitive Specialty Tubing and Application Enterprise.” Each department also reported on their work plans for 2025. Middle-level and above cadres and experts from the group attended the meeting.

After summarizing achievements, identifying shortcomings, analyzing the situation, and setting goals, Li Jingmin requested that all levels of the group apply self-pressure, fully implement the new concept of high-quality development, continue to carry forward the steel spirit of “innovative development and striving for excellence,” adhere to scientific and technological innovation and technological progress as the lead, and insist on using scientific and technological innovation as the main driving force to shape new development momentum and advantages. Efforts should be made to create a source of original technology and a highland of independent innovation, truly unleashing the technological power and innovative value of steel products, promoting the transformation from “steel smelting to material innovation,” grasping the fundamentals of “new materials for steel tubes and special applications for steel tubes,” focusing on promoting the transformation of product structure towards new applications of functional materials, and transforming the product structure to meet users’ special needs and create value for users. Innovation, efficiency, and creation should be pursued with precision, craftsmanship, and quality to build a world-renowned energy tubing enterprise with global competitiveness and realize the goal of a century-old Fengbao!

Chairman Li Guangyuan fully affirmed the achievements made by the steel sector in all aspects in 2024 and praised the thriving development momentum reflected in the summary report. He emphasized that technology and quality are the lifeblood of an enterprise, and it is necessary to lead the enterprise to a higher level through technological innovation, aiming for high-end products and building a world-class enterprise.

The conference required that the annual summary conference be both a summary and an opportunity for mutual learning and exchange. Benchmarks should be established, and units and individuals who have made achievements in the work of 2024 should be learned from. Firstly, the conference spirit should be promptly conveyed to unify thinking and strengthen confidence. Secondly, all levels should implement work ideas and methods solidly with a determined and diligent attitude, take responsibility and action, strive to achieve the work goals throughout the year, and strive to write a new chapter in the century-old history of Fengbao.

During the conference, the general manager and the deputy general managers in charge of various lines signed responsibility letters for production and operation targets. Li Junkui, Xiao Yongzhong, Yang Hongrui, Jiao Songshan, Fu Bingzhang, Duan Qiuli, and relevant leaders also spoke on their plans for the next steps in their respective areas of responsibility.
